The SC1000 is a new member of Hitec Special Measuring Systems range of current measuring systems, with systems extending up to 100 kA.  
This 1000-Ampere rated measuring system is the first precision DCCT with a dividable core, which allows installation on an existing cable or bus-bar.

The SC1000, just like all our measuring systems, is based on the Zero-Flux principle where the magnetic field around the primary conductor is balanced.

Main features are:

• Built-in electronics with voltage output
• The output voltage is a precision- scaled copy of the primary current over the full DC-100 kHz bandwidth.
• Bipolar measurement
• Automatic (re) establishment of zero-flux after temporary loss of supply voltage or at over current.
• Extra open collector output, indicating proper operation of the system.
